I absolutely love football, the Cincinnati Bengals are my favorite team. If football could be a year round thing I would be the happiest man in the world. But I also love music, and movies. To break it down, here is the playlist of my top five movies.
1. The Dark Knight.
To put it into perspective, Batman is my all time favorite Hero. This movie was written perfectly, and Heath Ledger was the best Joker I have ever seen.
2. Tommy Boy
Who does not love Chris Farley? I could quote this movie, it still makes me laugh every time I watch it.
3. Roadhouse
I love 80's movies, the clichés, and corniness of them brings joy to my life. This movie however has it all, love, beat-downs, death, and one liners.
4. Rocky IV
I love the Rocky saga, it was written for people to never give up no matter what odds they may face in their lives. Rocky IV is my favorite, the Russian killed Apollo, and Rocky was faced with the challenge of beating a man that everyone thought he would lose to. It is inspirational and moving.
5. Dirty Dancing
I know what you are going to say...and yes, "nobody puts Baby in the corner." Say what you want about it, I wanted to do the last dance scene at my wedding. Sadly my wife was not on board with that. This movie is another one of those 80's cliché movies that I cannot get enough of.
Music
I honestly could not write a playlist for music, because I love all of it. If it has a good beat and rhythm, I will listen to it. However I am more of a rock fan. I love jamming out to guitar solos and singing loudly in the shower. I was called the walking jukebox because I could sing just about any song you throw at me. This includes Chuck Berry, Muse, Metallica, Johnny Cash, Foo Fighters, Volbeat, Jason Aldean, Hinder, The Killers, Poison, Whitesnake, Foreigner, Europe, Survivor, George Thorogood, and many more artists. I grew up on 90's rock and can sing songs from The Cranberries, Lit, Spacehog, and Matchbox Twenty.
